Pantone has just announced it’s 2015 color of the year, Marsala, a chic cabernet red with undertones of brown, tan and blush. Executive Director of Pantone, Lee Eiseman, said that Marsala has an inherent sophistication and robustness that both men and women can incorporate into their homes, wardrobes and lives.Lee Eiseman also included that she can see this color used with rich brown tone as well as being incorporated in with blush tones, for a new contemporary color palette. Marsala is a luscious color that is easily workable around every fasciate of life for the next year.

When it comes to natural stone, Marsala would go with a number of color palettes. Featuring complimentary swirling chocolates and creams, Aria Stone Gallery’s Quasar Quartzite is dotted with Marsala throughout. It is a densely patterned stone that blends nicely with wine colored paint and cabinetry.
