Aria Stone Gallery’s Calacatta Namibia marble featured in Houston Chronicle in a kitchen designed by Marie Flanigan that she put in her recent book, “The Beauty of Home: Redefining Traditional Interiors.” Her inspiration stemmed from taking traditional fixtures and transforming them into a modern style.
Taking her inspiration into account, she turned this kitchen from something standard and traditional and made it uniquely modern with traditional aspects. The metal-clad cabinets are a play on the traditional wood, while custom-made brass accents give the cabinetry and cooking zones a charming rustic feel. Accented against white marble, the room feels inherently modern.
